Aktor Im Siwan dan Lee Dongwook menunjukkan karakter yang sempurna dalam drama Hell is Other People.

Nama Im Siwan dan Lee Dongwook telah menjadi perbincangan bahkan saat tahapan casting drama, ditambah dengan akting yang memukau semakin mengukuhkan nama mereka. Yoon Jongwoo (Im Siwan), yang terseret dalam kehidupan seperti neraka yang dibuat oleh para tetangga di kost Eden juga Seo Moon Jo (Lee Dongwook) yang memiliki dua sisi yaitu menjadi seorang dokter dan pembunuh. Para kru produksi juga memiliki kepercayaan tinggi sebelum drama dimulai dengan mengatakan, “Mohon nantikan kedua aktor yang baru pertama kali bermain drama di OCN.”

Im Siwan berperan sebagai Yoon Jongwoo, seseorang yang datang ke Seoul untuk bekerja magang dan mengalami kejadian seperti di neraka yang dibuat oleh para tetangga di kost Eden yang ia tinggali. Jongwoo harus menghadapi para tetangga yang menyembunyikan identitasnya di sebuah kost Eden yang tidak layak huni yang hanya dibatasi oleh tembok tipis di setiap kamarnya. Selain itu, ia harus menjalani kehidupan baru yang berat di luar kost Eden sebagai pegawai magang yang penuh dengan tekanan dan emosi.

Lee Dongwook kembali menyapa pemirsa dengan perannya sebagai Seo Moon Jo, seorang dokter gigi yang ramah. Dalam drama ini ia menunjukkan penampilan antagonis yang belum pernah ditunjukkan dalam drama lainnya sebelumnya. Di akhir episode 2, identitas sebenarnya sebagai pembunuh telah terungkap dan Lee Dongwook menampilkan akting yang mencekam di setiap episodenya. Di awal pertemuannya, Joongwoo yang belum mengetahui identitas Moon Jo, mengatakan pada Moon Jo, “Sepertinya kamu adalah orang yang paling normal di kost ini.” Namun setelah itu, Jongwoo merasakan suasana mencekam di dalam kost Eden. Dengan ekspresi yang seperti orang normal, para tetangga di kost Eden lamban laun menunjukkan sisi mereka yang menakutkan. Inilah poin utama pemirsa untuk menonton drama ini dimana mereka dapat melihat sisi menakutkan Lee Dongwook melalui “Hell is Other People”.
