Hari Kedua Sepeninggal Sulli, Kegiatan Keartisan Korea dibatalkan

Sebagai bentuk rasa belasungkawa atas kepergian Sulli, seluruh kegiatan keartisan di Korea dibatalkan.

Hari ini (15/10) CJ ENM mengumumkan dalam siaran pers resminya, “Press conference untuk acara Mnet Somebody S2 yang rencananya akan digelar hari ini pukul 11.00 KST dibatalkan. Kami turut berbelasungkawa atas kepergian Sulli.” Press Conference acara Chicken Road yang tayang di Olive TV yang akan digelar hari ini pukul 14.00 KST juga dibatalkan.

Selain itu, Netflix juga menyampaikan, “Kami akan membatalkan press conference program Park Na Rae: Glamour Warning yang rencananya akan digelar hari ini. Meski banyak yang ingin kami sampaikan perihal program ini, tetapi kami telah memutuskan untuk membatalkannya sebagai bentuk belasungkawa kami. Mohon pengertiannya.”

Bersamaan berita kematian Sulli kemarin (14/10), hampir seluruh kegiatan keartisan di Korea dibatalkan untuk menghormati kepergiannya. Kim Yoo Jung membatalkan kegiatan bersama sebuah brand kosmetik yang rencananya digelar hari ini. Band N.Flying juga membatalkan showcase mini album ke-6 bertajuk ‘YAHO.’ Kang Daniel menunda mengunggah video terbaru dalam channel Youtubenya, Colorful Daniel, yang awalnya akan dirilis besok (16/10) ditunda menjadi tanggal 23 Oktober mendatang. JYP Entertainment juga menyampaikan menghentikan sementara perilisan konten terkait comeback DAY 6.

Setelah berita kepergian Sulli, seluruh kegiatan para artis di bawah naungan SM Entertainment juga dihentikan Semalam, Super Junior juga membatalkan live streaming yang menjadi salah satu rangkaian dari comebacknya. Super M juga menghentikan syuting untuk acara spesial yang berjudul Super M The Beginning dan menunda jadwal  tayang. Taeyeon Girls Generation juga menunda perilisan konten album solo terbarunya, serta NCT Dream juga menunda pemesanan tiket konser mereka mendatang.

Kemarin sore (14/10), Sulli ditemukan tak bernyawa di lantai 2 rumahnya di Seongnam pada pukul 15.21 KST. Sehari sebelumnya, Sulli diketahui melakukan panggilan terakhir dengan sang manajer dan setelah itu tak bisa dihubungi lagi. Manajer yang datang ke rumah Sulli untuk mengecek keberadaannya langsung melapor kepada pihak kepolisian.

Beberapa jam setelah berita ini ramai diperbincangkan, akhirnya SM Entertainment membuat statement, “Keluarga Sulli yang berduka karena kehilangan yang mendadak ini, ingin mengadakan pemakaman secara tertutup. Kami masih tidak bisa mempercayai situasi ini, dan kami juga ikut berduka.”
